Trimovate Cream

Active ingredients in Trimovate cream:

Clobetasol butyrate (0.05% w/w): is a topical corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, itching, and redness of the skin.

Oxytetracycline (3% w/w): is an antibiotic that helps prevent or treat bacterial skin infections.

Nystatin (100,000 units w/w): is an antifungal medication used to treat fungal infections.

Inactive ingredients:

Trimovate cream also contains inactive ingredients such as:

soft white paraffin

liquid paraffin

Macrogol Stearate

Ketostearyl alcohol

Glycerin

Potassium sorbate

purified water

These inactive ingredients help stabilize the product, improve its texture, and extend its shelf life.

Some common side effects of Trimovate cream include:

Skin irritation, redness, or a burning sensation at the site of application.

Thinning of the skin (atrophy).

The appearance of stretch marks (stretch marks).

Excessive hair growth (hypertrichosis).

Perioral dermatitis (rash around the mouth).
