Warnings

Depending on your skin's response to the product, gradually introduce beta hydroxy acid products every other day, then progress to using them once or twice daily. Test the product carefully to understand how your skin responds positively. Use a moisturizer and sunscreen with at least SPF 30 during the day, as skin may be more susceptible to burning and damage if it is peeled. If you are undergoing a laser or peel procedure, follow the special post-procedure instructions provided by your doctor or nurse. If your skin appears to be extra sensitive after a laser or peel, wait a little while and use a peeling product containing beta hydroxy acid a few days after the procedure.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please read our FAQ page to learn more.

Why does the product feel sticky and greasy on the skin?

This may be because you're using too much of the product. The correct way to use it is to take a small, coin-sized amount and apply it as a thin layer to your skin. Also, the greasy feeling may be due to the product's high glycol content, which helps your skin absorb acids.

What is the difference between a liquid scrub and a gel scrub?

Liquid exfoliants have a liquid consistency, similar to toners, while gels have a gel-like consistency. Both are good options for treating acne, acne scars, and signs of aging. However, liquid exfoliants absorb more quickly into the skin, while gel exfoliants take a little longer to absorb. Both are good skincare options.

When can I use a scrub after a laser or chemical peel?

You should follow your doctor's post-laser and chemical peel instructions, and we recommend using the product for a period of time after laser and chemical peel procedures.
